Vice President of Finance & Strategy

Reporting to Company President, the Vice President of Finance & Strategy is accountable for the financial, administrative and risk management for InfoMC Inc. The basic role includes the development of an operational and financial strategy, metrics tied to the overall strategy and the ongoing monitoring and development of control systems designed to report accurate financial results and preserve financial assets.
This is a critical position that will serve as a member of the Senior Leadership team and participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees accounting functions in the day-to-day financial activities of the Company (AR, AP, banking, payroll, collections, etc.) and the preparation of internal financial statements.
- Oversees HR functions.
- Works closely with the Company President and other senior members of management on financial planning, corporate vision and strategic initiatives.
- Provides strategic financial leadership and support for the evaluation of acquisitions, capital expenditures, contracts, forecasts, budgets, strategic plans and other financial issues affecting the business.
- Prepares operating budgets and management reports; makes independent economic analyses of business opportunities; and evaluates the financial impact of related actions being considered by the corporation.
- Organizes, interprets and presents operating and financial data, including identification of significant success/problem indicators to senior management.
- Recommends and leads new efforts to improve management and financial performance.
- Ensures that adequate controls are implemented and maintained to safeguard financial risk and assets of the organization. Ensures that effective corporate and operational systems are established and maintained.List Item
- Works in conjunction with auditors in the preparation of audited financial statements.
- Ensures compliance with state tax (sales, income, etc.) laws in several states, including collection, payment and reporting.
- Working with outside tax advisors to ensure compliance with Federal tax law, including reporting and payment.
- Stays abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance of the finance and accounting functions. Assists in performing all tasks necessary to achieve and help execute staff succession and growth plans.
- Maintains professional demeanor in dealing with critical/confidential information; restricts discussion/knowledge of activity to a “need to know” basis.
- Works on ad hoc projects as directed.

Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification and/or MBA.
- A minimum of 10+ years of managerial/leadership experience in a finance role leading a team of finance professionals.
- Healthcare industry a plus.
- Proven ability to develop relationships and to work with teams as both a leader and a participant.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SaaS accounting and revenue recognition.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
